Commission Status: Open!

I accept PayPal, Ko-fi and online banking only!

IMPORTANT: Please read the information below first! It's a bit of a long read, but it'll make things go much smoother in the long run if you want to commission me (also includes payment & refund policies)!

Now that you've read the above, time for the real stuff!

Payment & Refund Policies

Once the necessary details have been discussed, you'll be asked to pay upfront based on the song length of your commission:

-For songs that are around 1 minute or shorter, since they can usually be completed in one go (even if they are complex), I'll ask you to pay full price upfront immediately.

I'll then follow up with a draft, containing the song's main melody and chord progression, and I'll make changes as necessary until you are satisfied. At that point, once you've given me the greenlight to finish the song by telling me to continue, refunds are no longer available.

-For songs that are around 1 minute and a half or longer,
I'll ask you to pay half of the price upfront, which'll then be followed by a draft. Once the draft is greenlit, I'll get back to you with a work-in-progress piece that's around 1 minute long or a quarter of the song length (whichever is longer).

I'll then make changes as necessary, and once you're satisfied with what you hear, I'll ask you to pay the other half of the payment before I continue working on the song. Once you've paid said half, refunds are no longer available.

The Commission Process

Before commissioning me, please beware that my work schedule is fairly lax, and thus it can take a while for me to reach you in the queue! If you prefer faster results, I recommend that you search out other music artists that are open to commissions instead!

1.) When commissioning me, please prepare a detailed explanation for the commission in question in advance. The main things that you'll need to tell me about are:

-Song Length (A rough estimate like "around 1:45-2:00" is fine, no need to be exact, but do make sure said estimate doesn't overlap between 2 price ranges).

-Theme (How you want the song to feel overall! Sad, angry, climactic, nature-like etc.).

-Motifs (If there's any specified, otherwise I will write up original motifs for your song).

-Time and key signatures (Optional! If not specified, I will assume that you're giving me free reign over them).

-Main instruments (Optional! Again, if not specified, I will choose them based on the details you give me).

Any other additional details you can give me, such as the context of the song in question, will help me have a clearer idea of what to do, so feel free to ramble as much as you need to. If you have any songs that I can use as references for your commission, even better!

2.) As we discuss details, I'll ask you clarifying questions to make sure we're on the same page. Please be patient with me about this, as I may ask questions that seem obvious to confirm that I'm interpreting the details you've given me correctly.

3.) Once the details are in place, the pricing will be determined. In the meantime, I will prepare a short draft of the song's main melody and chord progression, and post it once the payment is sent.

Here, you'll get your first chance to ask for any changes you want me to make, so don't be afraid to speak up if anything in the draft feels off to you, even if it may seem minor!

4.) After confirming that the draft is good to go, I'll get started on the song proper, and get back to you in the next week or so. Here, things get a bit different based on the song length:

-For songs that are around 1 minute or shorter, their short duration means that they can be finished relatively quickly. Unless they are really complex, expect me to get back to you with a finished product by my next message, upon which you will be given a chance to ask for changes before the song is finalized.

-For songs that are around 1 minute and a half or longer, I will post my progress each time I've composed around 1-2 minutes of the song, up until the song is done.

E.g. For a song that's 3 minutes long, I will post progress at 1 minute, 2 minutes and finally 3 minutes marks.

Each time I post my progress, you'll be able to ask me for changes you want me to make, meaning that you'll get several chances to request things up until the song is finalized.

And that's about it! I look forward to you commissioning me!

List of things I can compose!

Note: There're examples of my works below each one!

-Rock & Metal

-Electronic (Drum N Bass, Artcore, Breakcore etc.)

-Orchestral

-Video Game Music (Boss Themes & Others)
-This one is my forte especially!

-Ambience & Atmospheric (Horror, Tense, Sad etc.)

-Any combination of the above

List of things I won't compose!

-Remixes & Covers: However, original songs that utilize motifs from existing songs are fine, if they make sense. Don't ask me to put in random motifs from songs of other music composers "because you like them", but you may request for me to base your commission's main melody off of other artists' songs (just note it'll heavily be modified).

-Hate or NSFW: Don't, just don't.

-Modded Terraria Songs: For those of you who don't know, TL;DR is that I was treated horribly by that community during my stay there, and I have no desire to have anything to do with it ever again. Not even for money.

It is also in my right to deny your commission if it falls under any of these or approach is rude/forced. Please keep in mind that I'm rather sensitive, and I won't hesitate to block you or, if it comes down to it, cancel the commission if your attitude towards me is hostile, passive-aggressive or otherwise undesirable in some way.

Song Pricing!

Base Price

30$ for songs that are 1 minute or shorter.

+10$ for each half a minute longer than 1 minute (E.g. Around 1:30 is 40$, around 2:00 is 50$, around 2:30 is 60$ and so on).

Note: The pricing is determined at the start of the commission process, and I won't charge you extra if I happen to make your song be slightly longer than intended (E.g. If you want a song around 2:00 but it ended up 2:25 by chance, you'll still be charged with the 2:00 price).

Modifiers (applied after base price)

-Commissioning several songs at the same time will have up to -20% discount. This discount will vary based on other factors that'll be discussed in detail, such as song lengths and complexities.

Vocals Options

You may request for your songs to have vocals! This will add +30% to the song's pricing. This is because vocals take time to tune and write lyrics for. The vocals will be in English only.

In terms of vocals, I have access to the listed vocal synthesizers from Synthesizer V below! Select 1 or more vocal synth(s) of your choice. I highly recommend looking up examples of those vocal synths being used in songs, so that you have an idea of how each of them sounds!
-SOLARIA (feminine)
-Mai (feminine)
-Kasane Teto (feminine)
-Kevin (masculine)
-SAROS (nonbinary masculine)
-ASTERIAN (masculine)
